About the role

We are growing our design team and are looking for a Remote Senior Product Designer to be part of the multidisciplinary, distributed design company to create great products for our clients.

Ideally, you will be able to solve complex problems and create compelling products that drive business goals and delight end users covering SaSS, B2B, Transportation, Travel, Data Systems Management, and Healthcare industries.  In this role, you’ll either take on an existing project and improve its design or lead a new client from the ground up. You will report to the Product Design Director and be positioned in one of our Product Design squads.

This role requires candidates to be available for online meetings starting at 7 am on the West Coast and 9 am on the East Coast with distributed teams.

• 4+ years of Product Design expertise
• Skills in storytelling and presentation of design work
• A design portfolio showcasing your design work as well as your design process
• Demonstrate a user-centric design approach
• Excellent sense of aesthetics and knowledge of current trends in design

• Work with project stakeholders, PO, Creative and Product Directors to drive a concept from Discovery to Design Delivery
• Partner with the design teams to develop a user-centric point of view for the projects
• Gather design research and market analysis for use in addressing stakeholder perspectives
• Provide high-quality mockups and prototypes that illustrate the end-to-end user flow
• Provide design specifications, prototypes, and assets to developers in close collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering Leads
• Ensure the final result provides the intended value to clients by responding to feedback and making adjustments as needed

• Pro-level experience creating advanced Figma prototypes
• Familiarity with the web, iOS, and Android development processes and guidelines

• Responsible for building, refining, and maintaining the team backlog
• Prepare epics, user stories, and tasks for current and future milestones based on insights, research, and the client’s scope of work
• Inspect product progress daily and accept/reject work done, and solve product design concerns 
• Manage and escalate project risks and issues as necessary, establish success metrics for projects, and track and measure performance
• Enhance existing processes and remedy pain points through automation, streamlining, and program delivery
• Assess project outcomes and process improvements and use quantitative results to guide business decision-making
• Facilitate effective communication between clients and design teams to get the work done

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, widgets, and reports
• Gather and analyze Power BI business requirements from the client 
• Create standards, naming conventions, and other relevant metadata standards for setting up industry best practices
• Assist team in understanding prepared data within a data warehouse or other source systems
• Provide guidance on the design of complex reporting solutions and ensure alignment between the client and the design team
• Create a process and procedure for supporting quality assurance metrics and checks for each dashboard to make sure reported data matches source data
